Dr. Joshi got his M.B.B.S degree from R.N.T Medical College and hospital Udaipur Rajasthan and did his M.D. in Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy from Medical college and hospital Rohtak, Haryana, India.

He went to England in 1979 where he attained further post graduation qualifications in Dermatology, Venereology & tropical medicine. He gained wide experience in U.K. by working as a registrar, Senior Registrar and Consultant in Dermatology. He also had an opportunity to hold a position as a Consultant and Head of department of Dermatology at a tertiary hospital, The Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. He is a visiting consultant at the Queen Elizebeth Hospital Kingslynn, England.

He has a number of Publications in different National and International Journals. He is one of the reviewers in JAAD and British Journal of Dermatology. He has written a chapter on S.T.D in a book with a title:” Recurrent Abortion and its management” edited by Dr. Mala Arora which has been recognised as a reference book by the Royal college of obstretics and gyneacologist England.

Dr. Joshi has been Affiliated to IADVL, AAD, ISHRS & AAHRS and is a founder executive member of association hair restoration surgery of India (AHRSI). Dr. Joshi is a keen Dermato- Surgeon and in addition to hair transplant is very much involved in vitiligo surgery including autologous melanocytes transplant.

Associate Professor Dr. Rungsima Wanitphakdeedecha is a dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon in Bangkok, THAILAND. She completed her dermatology residency in 2003 at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, THAILAND. She has been serving as a faculty in Dermatosurgery Unit, Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University since then.

Dr Ungku Mohd Shahrin graduated from Indonesia State University (UI) in 1996, he completed his residency and compulsory services in Johor General Hospital, Malaysia in year 2000. He undergone several certification and training in the field of Aesthetic Medicine and received his Fellowship of Aesthetic Medicine from American Academy of Restorative and Aesthetic Medicine (AARAM) in 2006. Dr. Mohan Thomas is considered to be a pioneer and still the leader and an icon of cosmetic surgery in modern times. Due to his efforts India is on the map as a destination for cosmetic surgery as part of medical tourism. He is an American trained and board certified cosmetic surgeon and is one of the most popular names in India. He is the chief surgeon and medical director of the cosmetic surgery institute, Mumbai, India and founder president of the society of cosmetic surgeons and the academy of anti-ageing medicine, Mumbai and New York. He holds a degree from the medical college of Pennsylvania, USA and postdoctoral training in allegheny health systems, Philadelphia and Mount Sinai medical centre, New York, respectively. He is a clinical professor of surgery in Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York) and a visiting scholar.

He has contributed articles to journals of the American Academy of cosmetic surgery (U.S.A.), aesthetic surgery (U.S.A.), plastic & reconstructive surgery (U.S.A.), clinics of North America, journal of plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery (jpras) (U.K.), to name a few. His innovations, techniques and instrument designs are proof that he has trained with the masters in various disciplines of cosmetic surgery. He has been appointed as an international advisor and member of the editorial board of the American Academy of the Cosmetic Surgery. He is the only Indian on the board of trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the world academy of cosmetic surgery.

He has been credited with terms like “mummy makeover”, “deflation syndrome” and “image enhancement surgery” which are freely used by aesthetic physicians the world over. His pioneering work in male and female genital enhancement surgery has added a sparkle to many relationships going through a midlife crisis.

In 2005, , Stem Cell Facility at AIIMS was established . After taking the charge of the facility in 2005, basic research was initiated using adult and embryonic stem cells. . The Facility was considered for Department of Biotechnology-Centre of Excellence (DBT-CoE), Govt. of India grant to further strengthen the basic, pre- clinical and clinical research. With my team of researchers and students we have successfully established the GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP) FACILITY, in accordance with ICMR- DBT guidelines (Govt. of India) for Stem Cell Research, to manufacture stem cells of clinical grade for patient use. Apart from research, I am involved in teaching and training national and international students in the area of stem cell biology.
